On June 7, Wang Huisheng, a member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Hebei Institute of Building Materials and Technology, along with a group of 15 Party-member teachers from the Department of Art and Design, visited the company to carry out joint Party building activities between the university and the enterprise, conduct enterprise visits to explore job opportunities, and exchange ideas on specialty and discipline development. Fu Haobo, General Manager of the Group Company, led Zhang Hui, Director of the Group Company’s Office, Zhao Fengjun, General Manager of the New Materials Company, and relevant personnel to participate in this exchange activity.

Secretary Wang Huisheng and his delegation toured the company’s exhibition hall, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s development journey, core business areas, scientific research and innovation efforts, and corporate culture-building initiatives. Cheng Tao, Executive Deputy General Manager of Yaohua New Materials Company, provided a detailed briefing on the company and its key landscape products. During the symposium, Tang Chao, an outstanding graduate of the School of Building Materials who currently serves as Deputy Director of the company’s office, delivered a welcoming speech, welcoming the arrival of the school’s leaders and faculty members. He expressed his hope that, under the guidance of Party building, both the university and the enterprise could leverage their respective strengths, engage in close exchanges and discussions centered on talent cultivation and technological innovation—thus fostering deeper, multi-faceted cooperation between the two sides. Zhang Dongsheng, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Art and Design, spoke next, expressing his wish that the Party branch of the department and the enterprise’s Party committee could strengthen their cooperation and communication in the future, jointly focus on Party building work, and promote the coordinated advancement of both the enterprise and the university. Cao Hongnan, Head of the Department of Art and Design, noted that the department boasts strengths in specialized curriculum development and practical teaching in areas such as landscape application design. He suggested that the department could work closely with the enterprise to explore new avenues and approaches for collaboration in fields including new material applications, home decoration material utilization, and outdoor landscape design, thereby further advancing university-enterprise cooperation.

General Manager Fu Haobo of the Group Company warmly welcomed Secretary Wang Huisheng and his delegation, and expressed gratitude for the continuous support provided by Hebei Building Materials Vocational College. In recent years, the college has been thriving and achieving remarkable results that are evident to all. The cooperative exchanges between Yaohua and the Building Materials College have a long history. We sincerely hope that in the future, both sides will continue to collaborate closely in areas such as joint Party building initiatives, alignment of environmental art majors, student employment, and scientific and technological research and development, thereby attaining even greater achievements.

Wang Huisheng, a member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the college, delivered a concluding speech. He put forward three recommendations for this joint construction initiative. First, “dual-linkage co-construction”—we should uphold Party building as the guiding force for new development and promote the healthy advancement of all aspects of our work. Second, “three integrations and mutual connectivity”—we should explore new avenues for university-enterprise cooperation, truly achieving integration between vocational and general education, blending industry and education, and converging science and education. Third, “six coordinated efforts”—we need to establish a new mechanism for cultivating skilled talent. The college’s departments should seize every opportunity presented by joint construction with enterprises and visits to enterprises to expand job opportunities, while coordinating and effectively addressing six key areas: grounding ourselves in our specialties, serving enterprises, leading the industry, developing industries, promoting employment, and fostering career growth. We must vigorously strengthen university-enterprise collaboration and the integration of industry and education, working together to contribute more significantly to the cultivation of even more outstanding skilled professionals. Finally, Secretary Wang Huisheng expressed his gratitude for the enterprises’ warm hospitality and wished Yaohua Equipment Group ever greater strength and prosperity, continuous improvement year after year, an increasingly diverse product lineup, ongoing industrial expansion, and steadily growing output value.

Through this event, the Group and Hebei Institute of Building Materials and Technology have reached a preliminary agreement on cooperation in areas such as joint Party building initiatives, professional collaboration, scientific research and development, and talent cultivation.
