Recently, Qinhuangdao Yaohua Equipment Group received notification from the provincial department responsible for professional title reform that the Marine Equipment Office of the company’s Institute of Scientific Research has successfully passed the review for one senior-level engineer and three advanced-level engineers, further strengthening the company’s team of senior engineers.

The First Research Institute of the company actively implements a research policy centered on “talent, achievements, and efficiency,” strengthening the cultivation of high-end professional and technical personnel, promoting the practical application and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and leveraging scientific innovation to enhance overall efficiency. As the primary R&D department for the company’s traditional core marine equipment, the Marine Equipment Division of the First Research Institute has successively developed and produced a wide range of products—including unmanned underwater vehicles, workboats, assault boats, rapid assault craft, rigid-flexible boats, recreational fishing vessels, fiberglass deck panels, and carbon fiber products—which are extensively used in areas such as emergency rescue and disaster relief, amphibious landing operations, maritime reconnaissance, emergency response, equipment transportation, and marine law enforcement. In recent years, the Marine Equipment Division has filed over 40 patent applications, of which 25 have been granted, and it has established the “Qinhuangdao City Advanced Composite Materials Equipment and Instrumentation Innovation Studio.”

The Marine Equipment Department actively strengthens cooperation and exchanges with well-known domestic research institutions and universities. It has engaged in in-depth industry-academia-research collaborations with institutions such as a certain military research institute and Dalian University of Technology. In collaboration with a research institute under China Shipbuilding Group, the department has successfully undertaken and implemented the national-level demonstration project for innovative development of the marine economy—the demonstration application of multifunctional unmanned boats in the Bohai Sea area.

The Marine Equipment Department boasts a highly qualified, specialized, and innovative team of engineers, which effectively boosts technological innovation capabilities and supports the company’s business development. The Marine Equipment Department will continue to strengthen its commitment to maritime excellence, ride the waves with determination, grow together with the company, and jointly write a new chapter of technological innovation for Yaohua Equipment Group.
