Recently, the new materials company undertook the Rainbow Seating Project for the Xiong'an New Area. Within a tight 20-day working period, the company successfully completed the design, production, and installation—all on time. It was the first supplier to arrive on site and the only one to deliver on schedule, earning unanimous praise from both the client and the owner unit.
The Rainbow Seating is located in a ribbon-shaped urban park flanking both sides of the high-speed railway station in Xiong'an New Area. It comprises 175 seating sections and 35 flower beds, covering a total area of 1,280.3 square meters. The design concept draws inspiration from Xiong'an’s water culture; the overall curved layout evokes the gentle flow of a clear spring, while the flower beds at the ends resemble dewdrops resting on a lotus leaf. The seating features a vibrant rainbow color palette, creating an atmosphere that is both grand and harmonious yet full of charm and wit. Along the sides of the seats, wave-shaped lighting fixtures are strategically arranged, seamlessly blending with and permeating the seating itself in terms of both spatial arrangement and form, thus generating a uniquely distinctive “light wave.” This innovative design not only meets functional requirements such as rest, illumination, passage, and guidance but also enhances the environment and enriches the outdoor spatial experience, perfectly realizing the original design intent and vividly demonstrating the deep integration of nature, art, and daily life.
Currently, the planning and construction of the Xiong'an New Area are still underway. Within the visionary blueprint of a city where blue and green intertwine and water and urban spaces seamlessly merge, we will see an increasing number of remarkable urban furniture pieces meticulously crafted by leading companies.
