Recently, the epidemic situation in Haigang District of Qinhuangdao City has become severe. Young employees of Yaohua Equipment Group have actively responded to the call from the district government, stepping forward bravely during the National Day holiday and the period of static management, and enthusiastically dedicating themselves to volunteer services for epidemic prevention and control. In this battle against the epidemic—though fought without gunfire—they donned their red uniforms and protective gear, charging ahead against the tide.
From October 1 to October 6, 2022, 24 young volunteers from our company performed epidemic prevention duties at the eastern expressway exit in Qinhuangdao. Their main responsibilities included checking the health codes and travel history codes of all passengers in vehicles exiting the highway, recording vehicle information, asking about reported situations, and distributing通行 cards. Despite a sudden drop in temperature, the volunteers remained steadfast at their posts, fulfilling their duties conscientiously and using their practical actions to compose a youthful ode to “volunteer red” safeguarding “health green.”
Starting from 0:00 on October 7, in response to the sudden outbreak, Haigang District immediately implemented a region-wide static management. The Haigang District Center for Disease Control and Prevention was urgently short of staff. Yuhua Equipment Group continued to respond to the district government’s call, with eight volunteers volunteering themselves to join the dedicated hotline team and the epidemiological investigation and tracing group at the district’s epidemic prevention and control office. Volunteers Tang Chao and Wang Sipeng didn’t complain about hardship or fatigue, working shifts lasting up to 24 hours, fully demonstrating the spirit of Yuhua Equipment employees—daring to take on tough challenges and capable of winning them.
There are no heroes who fall from the sky—only ordinary people who step forward. During the pandemic, volunteers from Yaohua Equipment Group responded promptly to every call and were fully prepared to fight on the front lines of epidemic prevention and control, demonstrating the dedication and sense of responsibility of the new generation of young employees at Yaohua Equipment Group.
